Natalie McCann has departed Good Day Atlanta, the WAGA/Fox 5 morning show she’s been a part of since June 2016. Her final day was June 5, 2026.

McCann, who at the time she started at Fox 5 was known as Natalie Fultz (she married Brad McCann in 2021.), began her time at the station as a reporter; then she became GDA’s traffic reporter; then she added co-hosting to her duties on the show.

Her plans for a post-GDA life are to be more present with her family and to catch up on sleep.

“After ten incredible years at Fox 5 Atlanta, it’s time to say goodbye…at least for now,” said McCann, tearfully announcing her departure in the final minutes of GDA. “I walked through these doors as a 26-year-old girl chasing a dream, and over the last decade you’ve been there through every chapter with me. You watched me become a wife, a mom to two beautiful children, and the person I am today. Thank you so much for being part of that journey.”

McCann left open the possibility that she could return to television in the future.

McCann, a graduate of Auburn University, started her journalism journey as a reporter with the Thomasville Times-Enterprise in August 2012, then was an anchor/reporter for Columbus, Georgia NBC affiliate WLTZ Channel 38 starting in May 2013. She joined Fox 5 in May 2016.

Natalie’s colleagues in and out of Fox 5 shared their best wishes on social media:
