Lindsay Tuman has announced she is leaving WAGA/Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta.

Tuman joined the station in July 2021, marking five years reporting and later anchoring for Fox 5. Tuman joined the GDA team the following year. When she started hosting the morning program, she marveled at her fortune of landing on the anchor couch of the top-rated local morning show.

‘”Wow! 15-year-old me would be over the moon to think one day I would get a chance to anchor Good Day Atlanta. I’m so grateful for this amazing opportunity and can’t wait to do it again tomorrow!”

“Coming back home to report was a dream come true,” said Tuman on Instagram.  “I’ve loved working with the team and being a part of the Good Day crew, and I will treasure that time. Now I’m ready to be more present with my family, to wake up with my kids (at a normal time), and to slow down a little… if I can figure out how to do that.”

Tuman, a University Of Georgia grad, started as a weekend anchor at WRDW-TV Augusta, Georgia in 2014, then moved to morning reporter and anchor at WGHP, High Point, North Carolina in June 2018. She joined WAGA/Fox 5 three years later.
