WSTR/Star 94 FM co-host and new Atlantan Anna “AB” Bohlmann found herself behind the camera over the weekend when WAGA/Fox 5 caught up with her on the streets of Midtown Atlanta.
It so happens the station was doing a report on the consistently congested midtown traffic, which was exceptionally bad last Friday and part of the weekend due to a visit from several world leaders, including Chief of Staff Marco Rubio for a G20 event in Midtown. Bohlmann, walking to the Star 94 studios early that Friday morning, saw law enforcement in the area with “guns and things” in full view, likely doing security near the site of the G20 meetup. She noticed the traffic in the area, snarled due to G20: “I was watching cars be in the same spot for 30 minutes.”

Bohlmann, who co-hosts The Bret Mega Show on Star 94, told Fox 5 she wasn’t used to driving in Atlanta, so she mostly moves around the city on foot. “I really am trying not to use my car just because of how bad traffic was.” The report made no mention that their woman on the street was a local radio station DJ. Bohlmann herself commented on social media: “When you’ve been living in Atlanta for less than a month & you’ve already been on the news.”
Her show’s response: “This would only happen to you😂😂😂”. Even her station had a comment: “OH.”
Fox 5 posted the story on its website, noting her among its “flustrated Midtown residents” watching the situational traffic quagmire from her balcony. Again, no mention that their subject was AB from the Bret Mega Show.
Bohlmann, who just arrived in Atlanta a few weeks ago, will soon get the full experience of Atlanta traffic as she settles into her new city and its very busy roads.
