WXIA TV will be adding a new meteorologist very soon.
Hannah Skye comes to 11 Alive from another NBC affiliate up I-75 in the Chattanooga market, WRCB TV 3. She has been working at the station since August 2025. She started as an intern at WRCB and also at WKRN TV in Nashville. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Mississippi State University. She also went to the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Skye has already started training at 11 Alive today. “So grateful to be here. Can’t wait to get to work,” Skye said on social media.
No shift has been announced for Skye yet. She joins Chief Met Chris Holcomb, Chesley McNeil, Danielle Moss, and Nicole Hartford in the 11 Alive weather office.
