WAGA’s Lindsay Tuman Departs Good Day Atlanta

WAGA Fox 5 reporter and Good Day Atlanta co-host Lindsay Tuman announced Friday she is departing the morning show.

The Atlanta native joined Fox 5 as a multimedia journalist in July 2021. After graduating from the University of Georgia cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Digital and Broadcast Journalism, she went to work at the North Carolina Fox station WGHP as a morning reporter and fill-in anchor. She also worked at Augusta, Georgia’s WRDW and Newssource 15 in Athens.

“Today was my last day with Good Day Atlanta,” said Tuman on her Instagram account. “Coming back home to report was a dream come true. I’ve loved working with the team and being a part of the Good Day crew, and I will treasure that time. Now I’m ready to be more present with my family, to wake up with my kids (at a normal time), and to slow down a little… if I can figure out how to do that.”

Some other notable and longtime members of the GDA family have moved on recently. Alexia Liacko is now with CBS Atlanta’s morning show, and most recently, Natalie McCann departed the show to spend more time with her family.
