Now that his legal troubles are in the past, Big Tigger is returning to V-103 after a two-month absence.
The morning show host confirmed his return today on his show’s Instagram account. He will rejoin co-host Francesca Amiker on Monday, September 14th at 6-10 am on WVEE.
Big Tigger, legal name Darian Morgan, took a leave of absence from his morning show in early July after reports surfaced of a domestic incident involving his wife, Alicia Brown, and his child. He temporarily left the show to deal with the legal matters and focus on his family while the situation played out, but he categorically denied abuse allegations. Earlier this week, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office decided that charges would not be filed against him over the incident, according to TMZ.
Tigger commented further on the support he received during his absence
I want to thank everyone who stood with me and kept faith over the last couple of months. It’s been one of the most difficult times for my family and I, but happily, I can finally exhale and close this chapter.
As I continue to work through everything that has happened over the past few months, my full attention from this point forward will be focused on raising my son in a positive, loving environment, and my work on and off air.
Thank you again to my family, friends, employers, clients, and most importantly the community for riding with me and trusting my character. Thank you for respecting my privacy as I take the time and space needed to finish navigating this situation.

In Big Tigger’s absence, Frank Ski briefly returned to the morning shift he once held alongside Amiker, who joined the station earlier this year.
Big Tigger has been V-103’s morning man since August 2020. He previously worked at WWPR FM New York, WERQ FM Baltimore, and WPGC Washington, D.C. Before joining the radio world, he hosted programs for BET from 1996 to 2006. In addition to his morning duties at V-103, he’s also the resident DJ for the Atlanta Falcons and PA announcer for the Atlanta Hawks.
