America’s Got Talent Moving To Georgia?

Another hit talent show appears to be looking to get out of Hollywood and could be headed to Georgia. TMZ reported Tuesday that America’s Got Talent is possibly moving out of California next season, and Georgia and Tennessee are in the running to be its new home. This has not been confirmed by NBC or the show’s producers, Syco and Fremantle. This news comes one week after it was announced that American Idol is planning to relocate to metro Atlanta next season. If AGT makes its move to Georgia, it, like Idol, can take advantage of a 30% tax credit that shows filmed or taped here get if they spend at least half a million in the state. AGT, in its 22nd season, is hosted by Terry Crews, and features judges Simon Cowell (also creator and producer), Howie Mandel, Mel B., and Sofia Vergara. It is seen locally on NBC affiliate WXIA 11-Alive.
