Good Day Atlanta viewers are waking up to a new face in Atlanta morning television.
She’s Justina Latimer. She is the new traffic and news anchor for the WAGA Fox 5 morning show. Latimer will be anchoring from 4:30 to 6 am, doing traffic from 6 to 9 am, then co-hosting the show at 10 am until its conclusion. She started the show this morning.

“I’m so grateful for this next chapter and to be joining some of my family and friends in the A,” said Latimer in an Instagram post. “I can’t wait to wake up with you every weekday on Good Day Atlanta! ❤️”
Latimer joins Fox 5 after more than a year at Houston NBC affiliate KPRC TV as a traffic anchor and reporter, the dual role she will now be filling in Atlanta. Prior to that, she was a reporter and fill-in anchor with Nashville’s WSMV-TV. From 2018 to 2020, she was a reporter for WTEN in Albany, NY. Latimer also worked in Washington D.C., Baltimore, M.D. and West Virginia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electronic Media and Film at Towson University. For a year, she contributed content for Forbes magazine.
Latimer is joining a very busy, high-profile time period where traffic news is a major deal. She joins WSB-TV’s Mike Shields and Mark McKay, WXIA-TV’s Rachel Cox-Rosen and Doug Turnbull, Atlanta News First’s Taylor Tucker and CBS Atlanta’s Alexa Liacko as the market’s source for live morning TV traffic news.
GDA‘s last traffic reporter/anchor, Natalie McCann, left the station last June after 10 years.
