Cox Media Group has announced it has made a new hire to run it’s music oriented Atlanta radio stations.
Jules Riley has been selected as the Director of Operations and Programming for CMG Atlanta Radio, which means she will now oversee programming strategy and day-to-day operations for Hot AC WSB FM (B98.5 FM), Classic rock WSRV FM (97.1 The River), and Urban AC WALR FM (Kiss 104.1 FM). News and talk WSB AM/WSBB FM will not be under her responsibility.
According to CMG, Riley will work closely with market bosses and on-air talent to drive audience growth, enhance content quality, and maintain CMG’s standards across its stations.
“Jules has achieved exceptional success throughout her career because she understands how to build strong brands, develop people, and lead high-performing teams,” said David Abel, CMG’s Atlanta Radio Vice President and Market Manager. “Her strategic mindset, operational expertise, and passion for connecting with audiences make her the ideal choice for this important leadership role.”
Riley previously worked at CMG Radio Jacksonville, serving as Director of Operations and Programming for CMG’s eight-station group there. She’s also programmed stations in St Louis, Phoenix, Philadelpia and Wichita.
CMG says Riley has been “recognized for her ability to drive innovation, mentor talent, and execute programming strategies that resonate with local audiences while supporting broader business objectives.”
No start date has been set for Riley’s new position.
