CBS Atlanta meteorologist Dagmar Midcap is apparently no longer with the station.
The met’s bio was removed from CBS Atlanta’s website, and this morning, the station posted on social media a promotion for the station’s “Next Weather” team, Jonathan Myers, Troy Bridges, and Orelon Sidney. Midcap is not seen in the promo. No official word from the station has been posted about Midcap’s status at the station. She herself has not posted anything about her departure on social media.

Midcap made a return to Atlanta television on CBS Atlanta earlier this year as its weekday evening weather anchor. However, she had not been on air consistently, and Atlanta Journal-Constitution media writer Rodney Ho, who interviewed Midcap prior to her re-entry to Atlanta television, wrote that she had been off the air since early Summer. There was no comment given by Midcap, nor by the station, to Ho on her absence.
Midcap, also an actress as well as a TV presenter, made her Atlanta television debut on WGCL (now WANF), doing weather and traffic on its Better Mornings show in 2007. She became a popular presence on the station until she left in September 2010. She then spent 11 years as a weekday evening met at NBC O&O KNSD in San Diego. She joined CBS Atlanta in 2026.
