A mural honoring the late WSB-TV anchor Jovita Moore is back after being painted over earlier this year. The mural, commissioned by Atlanta United, was painted by local artist Tommy Bronx in November 2021, the same year Moore died of brain cancer. Bellwood Coffee, the business that erroniously deleted the mural from their wall to paint an ad for their business, admitted their mistake after community outcry and commissioned a new mural of Moore that was completed recently. In addition, the shop announced a new addition to their menu in honor of Moore, the JoMo, a drink the shop says will donate $2 from each sale to the National Brain Tumor Society. Moore worked at WSB from 1998 until her death. She won nine Emmy awards in her 31-year journalism career.
