Another Cost-Cut Departure At Cumulus’ WWWQ

From The 404 has learned of another budget-dictated departure at WWWQ “Q99.7.”

Radio Insight has reported that station associate program director and night host Laura Dickerson has exited. She joined WWWQ in January 2025 from Cumulus’ Houston Top 40 station 104.1 KRBE and ex-Top 40 now Gospel KROI, also in Houston. She also worked at WXKS Boston and KMVA/KZON Phoenix.

Dickerson’s departure follows Q99.7 midday co-host Kristin Klingshirn’s unexpected termination on Thursday from the station for cost-cutting reasons. Several other on-air and production staff at Cumulus radio stations nationwide have been laid off for the same reason.
