The Locked On Podcast Network has added a new way for Falcons fans to connect with the Dirty Birds.
The sports-oriented podcast network announced Hit, which is a new daily short-form lineup of shows that is, according to Locked On, “designed to meet fans wherever and however they follow their favorite teams.” Fans who check into Hit will see four two-minute Hit shows and two five-minute Hit shows each day across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and YouTube Shorts. Audio podcasts are heard on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other podcast sources. Each show will feature local expert coverage from across the Locked On network.
“We’re building a new creator network for today’s sports fans using a new media model,” said David Locke, president of Locked On Podcast Network, in a press statement “Hit multiplies how fans connect with the analysts they trust throughout the day. It’s local team-first expertise designed for all the platforms where fans spend their time following their teams and connecting to those communities.”
Locked On Hit is currently available for all NFL teams, including the Atlanta Falcons, just as the team is about to start their regular season. The Falcons Hits are hosted by Corey Burton.
Locked On says there are plans to add college football to the Hit roster, but there is no indication as to whether the Georgia Bulldogs or Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be a part of the initial 30 college teams.
Prior to the launch of Hit, Locked On Falcons has been and continues to podcast and live-stream shows featuring team news, commentary, and analysis by Aaron Freeman, Tenitra Batiste, Jarvis Davis, Maria Martin, and others.
