Atlanta CHR station WSTR Star 94 FM has a new image to go with its new sound.
Last week, From The 404 reported that the Audacy-owned radio station has been shifting its playlist more toward a more current-intensive Hot Adult Contemporary positioning and tightening its on-air imaging after years of changing sounds, slogans, and styles.
Now it has a new logo to go with the latest change in direction.

The new logo is noticeably similar to its old ’90s logo during its super-successful CHR days. Star has been replacing its former “The Rhythm of Atlanta”/”Feel Good Throwbacks” era logo on its website and social media accounts today.

This is Star 94’s 36th year as the moniker of WSTR 94.1 FM. Before then, it was known as WQXI FM “94Q”. The station has always been a CHR, Adult Contemporary, or Hot Adult Contemporary station, except during the 80s and 90s when it famously ran it’s then popular contemporary jazz show Jazz Flavors on weeknights.
Audacy has not commented on Star’s new image at the time of posting.
