By Brian Allen
Audacy’s 1380 WOAK AM has officially named longtime radio vet Joyce Littel the urban news and talk station’s program director. She will be making the key decisions regarding the station’s sound, programming, and direction going forward.
The news was originally reported by the AJC’s Rodney Ho.
Littel is known for being the longtime host of sister station WVEE’s “Quiet Storm” nightly radio show, which she’s hosted for more than 19 years. The Morris Brown College grad is a partner in a local digital network called Digital Communications Live, LLC, and her own company, Littel Concepts.
She recently received a Proclamation from the Atlanta City Council for her achievements and service for over forty years in radio. She was also named as one of Atlanta’s 25 Most Influential Women.
Congratulations to Joyce Littel!
