“The Fan” Shakes Up Schedule As Kincade Returns To Station

John Kincade is back at WCNN Sports Radio 680 The Fan, and there’s a new schedule waiting for him there.

Dickey Broadcasting, the parent company of the sports talker, announced that a new show, Kincade & Chernoff, featuring Kincade and Matt Chernoff, will air weekdays from 2 to 6 pm. The duo’s new show promises “an entertaining, insightful, and opinionated afternoon drive experience” complete with “the latest sports news, compelling interviews, passionate debate, and the chemistry that Atlanta sports fans have come to expect from 680 The Fan,” according to the station’s press release.

Kincade and Chernoff replace the current Chuck & Chernoff afternoon show. Chuck Oliver will no longer be on weekday afternoons, but his show remains at the evening 8-10 slot. Also, he will continue delivering college football coverage and analysis through segments, special features, and promotions on the station.

“This is an exciting opportunity for all of our brands,” said Dickey Broadcasting Company president David Dickey, in a statement. “John and Matt are an outstanding combination for afternoon drive, and our listeners should know that Chuck Oliver isn’t going anywhere. Chuck remains a huge part of The Fan and will continue to be our premier voice for college football through regular appearances, features, and promotions, while also expanding the reach of The Chuck Oliver Show across the Southern Sports Today Network. These moves strengthen our commitment to delivering best-in-class sports programming both locally and throughout the Southeast.”

The show premieres on August 31st.
