A familiar voice in Atlanta sports radio is coming back to his old station.
John Kincade, who co-hosted a midday show on WCNN “680/93.7 The Fan” with Buck Belue, will be returning to the station very soon, announced the parent company of WCNN, Dickey Broadcasting. His return is part of a “new long-term agreement” he’s inked with the station. His role, programming schedule, and when he will be back on the air at “The Fan” will be announced by the station in the coming weeks.”
Kincade had been working for WCNN since 2000. In addition to the midday Buck and Kincade show, he also hosted a nationally syndicated weekend show, The John Kincade Show, for ESPN Radio and later CBS Sports Radio. In 2015, he hosted The Big Podcast with Shaquille O’Neal. He even worked as a broadcaster for the no-longer-in-Atlanta Thrashers. He was released from “The Fan” in 2020. He then headed north to Philadelphia’s WPEN a year later, where he would co-host its morning show.
Kincade also worked at WQXI “790 The Zone.”
